Establishment and Location

Noor College of Education was established by Noor Educational Society, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad, at Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar District in the year 1998. The college was founded as per the provisions of NCTE, Osmania University, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

It is a co-education college situated in a rural area, dedicated to catering to the educational and professional needs of students covering Rangareddy, Hyderabad, and Mahabubnagar Districts. We are committed to serving the cause of education, particularly for rural and minority sections of the society. Admissions are also open to candidates from other areas and districts of the Telangana Region.

Evolution and Growth

Initially started with an aim to uplift the minority students of the Islamic Religion, Noor College of Education expanded its vision from 2007-08 onwards and is now open to all sections of society.

To start with, the college was sanctioned an intake of 100 students. From the academic year 2008-09 onwards, the intake was increased to 200 vide G.O. Rt.No.23 Govt. of AP dated 16-01-2008. From 2009-10 onwards, it was affiliated with Palamuru University as per the Government of AP Directives.

The Noor College of Education, with its expanded vision, mission, values, and objectives, has strengthened the curriculum with professional inputs of Teacher Education. We place a strong thrust on intellectual and academic values to meet global trends and demands.

Our Aim

The college aims at an integral and personalized training of young men and women through Integral Pedagogy – Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation – to be well-motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed, and spiritually inspired.

It is the aim of Noor College of Education that the students who take their training here become well-formed guides who will accompany the young learner on his or her journey of becoming a fully human person. The college, therefore, offers an all-round training, one that is at once intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, moral, and spiritual.

The college further aims at promoting values such as respect for Indian common cultural heritage, egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of the environment, removal of social barriers, responsible use of cybernetics and mass media, transparency and probity in private and public life, observance of small family norms, national unity, and respect for religious and moral values.
